Two children were drowned in Beas river in Punjab.
Police said on Thursday that the children, from Dhirowal village of Batala went to see the rising water levels of Beas river. The children were later drowned.
They were identified as Jaskaran Singh (13) and Dilpreet Singh (9).
Police recovered the bodies and handed over to the parents after post-mortom.
