In a swift action, Haryana police on Thursday arrested Three persons from Rajasthan for allegedly threatening a famous Chat Bhandar owner in Hissar and demanding a ransom of Rs ten crore.
Investigation officer Mangeram told the media that four persons entered the Ram Chat Bhandar on Wednesday at 1510 hrs. One of them went to the counter and first, asked for a token of Rs Forty and then brandishing a pistol, handed over a paper slip. The slip said, ”Pay Rs Ten crore within two days or be prepared to face bullets.” All four people fled after that.
Owner Kuldip Verma immediately dialed 112 and informed the police. Later, he also handed over the paper slip to the police.
Mangeram said the police with the help of CCTV footage identified the accused and followed them to Rajasthan and arrested Naseeb, Tarun and Joginder. He said that two accused including mastermind Anil Hindwania were yet to be nabbed.
