Srinagar: A 30-year-old man was killed by unknown gunmen in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that the unknown gunmen fired upon the man namely Shabir Ahmad Bhat (30) son of Mohd Sideeq Bhat in Tral Town today evening.
The incident occurred when Bhat was driving his car (Duster vehicle CH 01 AQ/ 8750) on Tral-Gamraz road. “Bhat, a resident of Tral Payeen was hit at his head andwas immediately shifted to Sub-District Tral hospital where he was declared brought dead.
A senior Police officer confirmed the killing and said the searches have been launched to track down the attackers.
Bhat was dealing with selling and purchasing of vehicles, the officer said. (GNS)
