5 dead, 7 injured in US-Israeli strikes in Iran's Markazi

At least five people were killed in US-Israeli strikes on Iran’s Markazi province.


Seven others were injured after separate strikes were carried out by US and Israeli forces in the Markazi province of Iran.


In the first attack, a residential area surrounding the city of Arak was hit, killing four people, the media report said, adding that the number of fatalities could rise.


In the second attack, a residential building in Markazi’s city of Mahallat was hit, killing one person and injuring seven others.


Media reports said Shahid Khomeini Boys’ School was attacked early today, causing considerable damage to the building.


Israeli air strikes have targeted several towns in southern Lebanon, including Qantara, Sawana, Burj Qalawiya, Sultaniyeh and Shaqra.
