74.53% Of Corona Cases Are In 10 States Of India

There are 10 states of India which are responsible for 74.53% cases of corona infection in the entire country.

These states are: Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

On Sunday, the highest number of infections occurred in Maharashtra (67,160). After Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh (37,944) and Karnataka (29,438) came second and third.

The active caseload in India has increased to 26,82,751 and now it is 15.82% of the total cases of infection in the country.

Including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Kerala, India accounts for 69.94% of the total active cases.

The Union Health Ministry has stated that Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Bihar and West Bengal are the states where new cases of Covid-19 are increasing.

However, the national death rate from Corona has come down to 1.13 percent.

It is also important to keep in mind here that only 80.23% of the total deaths from Corona are being seen in 10 states. (PTK)
