8 killed, 13 injured in two-car collision in Jordan

At least eight people were killed, and 13 others injured in a traffic accident in Jordan’s Northern Badia region of Mafraq Governorate, the state-run Petra news agency reported.

The accident occurred on Tuesday when two vehicles collided. Civil defense teams rushed to the site and the injured were taken to hospital.

An investigation into the accident is underway, Petra reported, citing a statement by Jordan’s Public Security Department.
