Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, on Saturday visited the families who lost their loved ones in the accidental explosion at Nowgam Police Station to offer condolences and express solidarity on behalf of the government.
Acting on the directions of the Chief Minister, the Advisor visited Nowgam, Natipora, Soibug, and Bemina, where he met the bereaved families and conveyed the administration’s deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives. He assured them that the government stands firmly with every affected family and will extend all possible support during this difficult time.
Advisor Wani was accompanied by MLA Channapora Mushtaq Ahmad Guroo and senior officials of the administration.
Later, the Advisor visited a local hospital to enquire about the condition of those injured in the explosion. He interacted with the injured, reviewed the line of treatment, and instructed the Health Department to coordinate closely with hospital authorities to ensure the best possible medical care.
Reaffirming the administration’s commitment, Advisor Wani said the Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, stands shoulder-to-shoulder with all those affected by the tragedy. He expressed deep sympathy with the bereaved families and conveyed heartfelt wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured, assuring them of full government support in this hour of grief.
