The district police have arrested two more people including an advocate for allegedly harbouring radical preacher and Chief, ‘Waris Punjab De’ organisation Amritpal Singh, who has been on the run since March 18 when the Punjab Police launched a crackdown against him and his aides.
According to the police sources, the arrested Amritpal Singh’s alleged aides were identified as Advocate Rajdeep Singh of village Babak (Hoshiarpur) and Sarbjit Singh of Jalandhar.
Both Rajdeep Singh and Sarbjit Singh were produced before the Duty Magistrate late Friday night who granted their one day police remand.
Their interrogation is being done and police will later on disclose more about recoveries from them and revelations made by them.
