Around 20 people suffered injuries on Friday when an iron foot bridge collapsed in Bani Sangam village of Bain in Chenani block of Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that to participate in an annual Baisakhi Festival at Bani Sangam temple, hundreds of people were visiting to the spot.
While on the way, the bridge collapsed suddenly in which around 20 persons sustained injuries.
“Three of the injured have been rushed to the district hospital Udhampur while others are admitted in Chenani hospital,” said police.
Police team and locals are on the spot, they said.
