B’desh PM’s adviser Salman F Rahman met his childhood friend PAK’s Prez after 60 years

President of Bangladesh Mohammad Shahabuddin met President of Pakistan Arif Alvi while performing holy Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

At that time, seeing Bangladesh Prime Minister’s advisor Salman F. Rahman next to the President, the Pakistani President became very excited, because they are childhood friends and met after 60 years.

The Pakistani president himself said about that excitement on Twitter.

He said in a tweet that he had a great meeting with the President of Bangladesh Mr. Sahabuddin in Makkah, Mina and Madinah. My childhood friend Salman F Rahman in white under Rawza-e-Rasul. We met after 60 years. Allah’s blessings will do wonders in our relationship.

Salman F Rahman said that he met ‘boyfriend’ Arif Alvi while performing Hajj. Sharing a picture of the three (President Sahabuddin, Arif Alvi and Salman F Rahman) in a tweet, he wrote, “It was nice to meet Arif Alvi at Masjid Nabbi.” The last time we met, I was 12 years old. (This meeting) brought back many childhood memories.

Mentioning what was discussed in the meeting, the advisor to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh said, I told him (Pakistani President) that we need apology from Pakistan for the sake of improving relations.

It may be mentioned that Salman F Rahman’s Twitter handle is not verified. However, the link of the handle is attached to his verified Facebook page.

President Sahabuddin, his family members and other travel companions went to Saudi Arabia on June 23 on a 10-day visit to perform Hajj as royal guests of the Saudi government.

After performing the Hajj, the President returned to the country on Sunday.
