Bullet ridden body of a youth was recovered from a jeep under mysterious circumstances in Nagla Sindhi area of Firozabad district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, a police officer said here.
Superintendent of Police (City) Sarvesh Kumar Mishra said that information about the body of the youth lying in the jeep parked alongside the road was received in the morning.
“The deceased was identified as Dharamveer Yadav, a resident of Nagla Mahua village under Tajganj police station in Agra district,” he said.
He said that the body was found on the passenger seat of the jeep with bullet injury on the temple.
“According to Dharamveer’s family members he left the house to attend coaching classes on Friday evening and did not return home. On the complaint of the deceased’s uncle a case against unidentified persons has been lodged,” he said.
The SP said that some evidence has been found on the spot on the basis of which three teams have been constituted to arrest the assailants. “The body has been sent for postmortem examination,” he said.
