CASO In Tankipora, Sgr Ends Without Any Clue

Srinagar: A Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was on Saturday launched in Tankipora area of Habba Kadal, official sources said.

According to the wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a joint CASO was launched in this afternoon in Tankipora area of Srinagar following the inputs about presence of militants in the area, official sources said.

They said some of the houses were also searched, but nothing was found during the operation.

Meanwhile, witnesses said that minor clashes also broke out during the search operation, adding that the youth who were pelting stones were dispersed by the forces by using mild force.

Locals, however, alleged that some of the shops were also damaged by the forces, adding the window panes of the shops were broken by the forces while they were dispersing the youth.
