Madhya Pradesh Police made a breakthrough on Thursday by arresting a man who allegedly threatened to assassinate the Congress’ erstwhile president Rahul Gandhi and detonate a bomb in the state’s commercial capital while the senior politician was traversing the state some months back as part of his Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Law-enforcement authorities confirmed that Crime Branch personnel were on the lookout for local resident and absconder Ishilal Jham who was apprehended in the Railway Station area following a tip-off.
