Couple booked in forceful conversion case

Jammu, (UNI) Police on Saturday booked a couple for forcing people to convert their religion in Domana area here in the city outskirts. Police said that a couple has been booked on the basis of the complaint lodged by Gulshan Bandal, resident of village Gangwan, Sangram, Akshay Kumar of Patiyalichak and Avinash Chandra of Nagbani.

In their complaint they claimed that Kamal Mania and her wife Raj Lakshmi of Nagbani, who are running a NGO namely ‘Baptist Childcare Fellowship’ are pressurizing and harassing them to convert their religion. A case against the couple has been booked and investigation is on, the police said.
