With 29 fresh instances of novel coronavirus infection being detected in Madhya Pradesh on Friday following analysis of 744 samples, the number of active cases increased to 179.
According to a Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight, Bhopal continued to have the dubious distinction of being the numero uno district vis-à-vis new sufferers numbering 13, Indore nine, Jabalpur three, Sehore two, Ujjain and Narmadapuram one each. The positivity is 3.5 per cent.
A total 10,55,283 individuals became infected since commencement of the outbreak but 10,44,327 recuperated; 14 of them on this very day.
