Dagger Parivaar School welcomes Master Burhan back with open Arms

Indian Army’s Baramulla-based Dagger Division and the Indrani Balan Foundation, Pune, on Saturday announced the return of Master Burhan Malik to Dagger Parivaar School after his successful surgery.

Burhan, a 9-year-old student, faced daunting health challenges, including intellectual disability and a critical cardiac condition.


“However, due to the combined efforts of the Indian Army and Indrani Balan Foundation, Pune, Burhan underwent a life-saving surgery, marking a significant milestone in his journey,” a statement by the school said.

As Burhan returned to school, he met with a heartwarming reception from the entire Dagger Parivaar community. Teachers and fellow students eagerly awaited his return and were ready to embrace him with open arms and offer their unwavering support.


“Burhan’s resilience and determination serve as an inspiration to all, demonstrating the power of hope and perseverance in overcoming adversity,” they added.


Dagger Parivaar School is a centre designed for specially-abled children in Baramulla to empower these gifted children to recreate their world.
