Eric Trump calls Zohran Mamdani a ‘Communist’ with anti-Indian, anti-Jewish bias

Eric Trump, son of US President Donald Trump and Executive Vice-President of the Trump Organization, has criticized New York City’s mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, claiming that Mamdani harbors anti-Indian and anti-Jewish sentiments and labelled him as a communist.

“There is no place in the world that can compete against New York City, and yet you have a socialist, communist, however, you wanna label this, who wants to arrest Netanyahu, hates Jews, hates Indian population, wants to defund law enforcement. You know what that’s gonna cost. It’s so sad,” Eric Trump said during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Eric said that the city is being steered by far-left policies that undermine its growth and prosperity.

He suggested that the new mayor needs to “focus on safe streets, clean streets, reasonable taxes and these cities will thrive on their own without government intervention.”

“He’s a socialist, a communist, who wants to nationalize businesses, would arrest Netanyahu, opposes Jewish and Indian communities, and aims to defund law enforcement,” Eric Trump said.

Eric also tied Mamdani to other progressive figures, including Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, criticizing her opposition to Amazon’s planned New York headquarters, which he said would have created thousands of high-paying jobs.

Earlier this month, at a ‘Turning Point USA’ event, Eric warned that Mamdani’s policies could have negative consequences for the city, calling him a “literal Communist” and urging conservatives to resist the spread of such ideas.

Mamdani, a Democratic socialist, made history by winning the NYC mayoral race. He will be the city’s first Muslim mayor, its youngest leader in more than a century, and the first mayor of South Asian and African descent.

Earlier, Mamdani has stated that he would enforce an ICC-issued arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits New York, citing the city’s commitment to international law.
