Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials of the departments concerned to finalise the logo and the theme of the Maha Kumbh to be held in the year 2025 at the earliest.
Yogi has instructed officials to leave no stone unturned in making the Maha Kumbh a grand and memorable event while taking care of the needs and comfort of the visitors and devotees coming from within the country and across the globe.
Apart from beautification of various temples including Bhardwaj Ashram, Dwadash Madhav Temple, Nagvasuki Temple, Dashashwamedh Temple, Mankameshwar Temple, Alopi Sankari Temple, Padila Mahadev Temple, Koteshwar Mahadev , Kalyani Devi, Digital Kumbh Museum, Takshak Tirtha, Karchhana, Akshayavat or Palapuri Temple, Hanuman Temple, Floating Jetty and Restaurant, Rahi Ilawart Hotel, Triveni Darshan and three entrances, the Tourism Department officials have been asked to develop civic amenities in Prayagraj for the comfortable stay of visitors and devotees.
He has also directed the officials to publicise Maha Kumbh by setting up a temporary tent colony in Prayagraj, inviting travel and tour operators to a conclave, printing travel literature in Indian and international languages, as well as establishing a tourist information center at the temporary bus station and railway station equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
The Yogi government has started construction of temporary thematic gates to conduct international level activities and events under adventure tourism, including projection mapping, laser show, hot air balloon-show, drone-show, arrow sports, helicopter joy ride and making arrangements for paragliding.
Yogi has directed that training should be given to tourism service providers including guides, auto-rickshaw drivers and boatmen. Pavilions should be set up depicting the culture of all the states, the CM has suggested to the officials.
