A fire broke out tonight in the forested area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district and spread to nearby areas, officials said.
“A fire broke out in the forest belt of Rajouri along Rajouri-Poonch highway. It has spread to a large area,” a forest department official said.
The forest officials and local residents are trying to put out the flames, he said.
The area has reported three minor fires over the last few days.(Agencies)
