All arrangements done to ensure smooth arrival, departure of dignitaries: ADGP Khan Union Ministers

Srinagar: In view of the upcoming visit of Union Ministers to Jammu and Kashmir to create awareness among people about the benefits of being in a Union Territory, the UT police has elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth arrival and departure of the dignitaries. The scale of security for the visiting ministers will be similar to that of what they enjoy in Delhi, top security official said.
According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), elaborate security arrangements have been put in place and high level security review meetings are being held in respective districts. “We have made fool proof security arrangements for the smooth arrival and departure of visiting ministers in J&K.
At least 36 ministers are visiting J&K for the first time in the history to create awareness about the development model of GoI for J&K UT that came into existence on October 31. The ministers will review the development scenario and also meet officials and explain Centre’s agenda.
First security review meeting was held in Rajouri, Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri Yougal Manhas chaired an important review meeting of district police Rajouri .
Sources told KNO that meeting was held in conference hall of District Police Lines Rajouri and was attended by Addl SP Rajouri Liaqat Ali, Additional SP Nowshera G L Sharma and , Sub Divisional Police Officers, all Station House Officers and Police Post Incharges. Similar meetings will be held in other areas where Union Ministers are supposed to chair review meetings.
