From Last 39 Months SBM Employees Without Salaries

The employees working under Saakshar Bharat Mission (SBM), centrally sponsored scheme here at Langate are up in arms against the administration for failing to release their salaries from last 39 months. The employees demanded their salaries at earliest. 
In a statement issued, the employees working under the scheme said that they are serving the education department since last 47 months but they have received the honorarium 0f eight months only. “We are facing tremendous hardships due to the withholding of the salaries,” they said.
“Almost 6000 employees (approximately) including District Level coordinators Block Level Coordinators & Panchayat Coordinators Preraks are working under Saakshar Bharat Mission who have not received their salaries from last 39 months,” they said
They said that they were deputed by Concerned District Authorities in different Schools for academic support from time to time to overcome the shortage of teaching staff and that beside acting as preraks they work in sensitive Zones as BLO perform election duties conduct surveys of CAPD and other department but without remuneration.
“We are doing our jobs under the chairmanship of Sarpanch at Panchayat level under Block Development officer Block level and under District Development commission at District level,” they said, adding that they all Preraks are highly qualified mostly PG.B.Ed./M.Ed/M.Phil and the selection was made purely on merit basis.
“All the assignment which were assigned to us by the department from time to time were met out by us very smoothly and live examples can be taken of learners Assessment test which were conducted by us from time to time recently on 15th march 2015 & 23 August 2015,” they in a statement said, adding that sarva shiksha Abhiyan & saakshar Bharat Mission is a joint venture but the employees working in SSA scheme were absorbed at various stages but unfortunately nothing has done for saakshar bharat mission till date which is totally injustice for us.
They said that some among them have crossed the age limit which will ruin their life if Regularization not provided.(Agencies)
