The Government Friday appointed Advocate Jehnagir Iqbal Ganaie as new Advocate General.
Ganaie earlier also served as the Advocate General during the chief ministership of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
He had resigned during Governor Narinder Nath Vohra’s rule following which D C Raina was appointed as the Advocate General.
Raina also resigned three days back, paving way of Ganaie’s reappointment.
