HP: One dies, 6 injured as Haryana Roadways bus hits tree

Following Orange Alert and Inceasent rainfall made the Himachal roads highly slippery and prone to accident endangering the life of people.


A Report coming here from Una said a Haryana Roadways bus skidded on the slippery roads at Baruhi village of Bangana subdivision of Una district mishap leaving one dead and six injured.


State Disaster Management Authority spokesperson informed that due to overspeeding on the slippery road Haryana Roadways Bus (HR 38 GY 9607) hit a tree, crashed into the wall of an adjacent house.


Mishasp occurred around 0430hrs on Wednesday when it was raining and foggy.
Approximately, 15-20 passengers were travelling in the bus out of which one person died and three to four passengers injured in the bus and three migrants living in the house Injured . All the injured were rushed to
Regional Hospital Una for medical treatment.


Deceased identified as Busconductor Virender (son of Sukhram) hailed from Mahendergarh , Haryana and injured


Sangeeta Chauhan(33, Kangra) refereed to PGI. Other injured persons admitted in RH Una Chandan Chauhan (35), Saniya Chauhan (1 Year, 6 Months) Rekha Devi (38), Nitin and Bupinder Singh (45) .
