Imran Khan’s PTI workers detained for protesting outside NA amid no-confidence vote

Islamabad, April 9 (UNI) Workers of Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf party were detained after they staged a protest outside Parliament House as the no-confidence voting was being held inside post midnight.

A number of PTI workers staged a protest as the voting process was being held in the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan in the National Assembly. He was ousted after 174 members voted against Khan in the assembly.

The police detained several women workers and were trying to disperse the crowd. The federal ministers termed the ousting of the PM a “black day” for the nation.
