A Jammu judoka on Wednesday received a grand reception from the GRP Jammu on his arrival here from Russia after winning a bronze medal in the Kurash event—a format of judo– in the Seventh International Children Asia Games.
Arihaant Mahajan,14, won the bronze medal while another teenager Bhawani Pratap,15, was also lauded for his excellent performance.
The GRP Jammu team led by SDPO Jammu Railway Station, DYSP Albeen Malik welcomed the boys and lauded them for making the nation and the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir proud.
Judo Coaches, Suryabhan Singh, Ritika Slathia and Rameshwar Singh also received the teen heroes.
They were garlanded with showers of praises by the mentors and the GRP officials for an outstanding performance.
