J&K hit by earthquake

Srinagar, (UNI): An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale hit Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. The tremors lasted a few seconds from 3.02 am.

The low intensity tremor was the  third in 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir. There were no reports of loss of life or damage to property.

According to the Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the earthquake was near Doda in Jammu region.

The earlier two earthquakes of magnitude 4.0 and 3.2 were recorded on February 16.
