JK logs 4,615 new Covid-19 cases

Srinagar, (UNI) With 77,108 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, Jammu and Kashmir reported 4,615 fresh cases of Covid-19, an official spokesperson said. The state also witnessed seven deaths since Saturday morning.

As per the spokesperson, Srinagar recorded 889 cases, Budgam 663, Kupwara 613, Baramulla, 479, Anantnag 244, Kulgam 159, Pulwama 69, Ganderbal 46, Bandipora 21 and Shopian 31. Similarly, Jammu had 826, Udhampur 151, Doda 133, Kishtwar 59, Ramban 48, Samba 46, Rajouri 45, Kathua 40, Poonch 35, and Reasi 18.

However, 6,557 COVID-19 patients recovered, 1,585 from Jammu Division and 4, 972 from Kashmir since Saturday. Also, 17,144 doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered to 2,04,29,965, he added.
