J&K: Man Shot dead in Rajouri

Jammu, Feb 5 (UNI) A man was shot dead by unidentified gunman in his house in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police on Saturday said that some unidentified persons during wee hours fired at one Karamat Shah,27, resident of village Targain, tehsil Budhal, Rajouri.

“He was shot at from the window of his house. He received injury in his head and he died on the spot,” said police.

Meanwhile, police said that two rounds were also fired at the residence of Nabi Shah of the same village but the family remained unhurt. “A case has been registered and investigation started,” said police.
