At least five labourers were buried under debris, out of whom three have been rescued, when an under-construction building collapsed due to a landslide on Tuesday in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that a landslide triggered by rain collapsed an under construction building in Udhampur, leaving five labourers buried under the debris.
Police, along with locals, Army, and administration officers, immediately swung into action and launched the rescue operation.
“Three labourers have been rescued, and those who suffered injuries have been rushed to the hospital,” they said.
The rescue operation is in progress to rescue trapped labourers, they said.
