Two persons were killed and a child was injured when a two-wheeler was hit by a dumper in Jahanabad area of Fatehpur district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, a police officer said here.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Kumar Singh said that the incident took place on Bhognipur highway when the two-wheeler was hit by the dumper.
“Shyamu Sonker (30) and his niece Jasmin (8) were killed in the incident,” he said.
He said that Shyamu’s nephew Naman (5) was seriously injured in the incident and has been admitted to the hospital.
“Naman’s condition is stated to be serious. Shyamu was a resident of Sadh Vyavhar in Kanpur
district and was going to see his sister, who is admitted in the hospital,” he said.
