Bhopal, Mar 16 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Assembly was adjourned indefinitely on Wednesday following uproarious scenes vis-a-vis the film ‘The Kashmir Files’.
The Budget Session thus concluded about a week ahead of schedule.
Immediately after conclusion of the Question Hour, the principal-opposition Congress raised the matter, which sparked off a vitriolic exchange with the Treasury Benches and the House descended into chaos. As the pandemonium progressed unabated, Speaker Girish Gautam tackled items listed on the agenda.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra proposed that the session be adjourned sine die and the Speaker accepted.
The session commenced on March 7 with the customary gubernatorial address and was to conclude on March 25.
