Kashmir Shuts Against Youth Killing

Srinagar: The Kashmir valley has witnesed a complete shut down against the killing of Gowhar Nazir of Zainakote in CRPF firing  on Sunday while authorities have imposed curfew like restrictions to scuttle any possible protests  against the killing.

All the shops and business houses remain shut and the traffic is also invisible on roads.  The government forces hace placed barricades and concertina wire at all entry points of summer capital and thoroughly check the vehciles and frisk commuters before entering city.

All shops and business establishments are closed while public transport was off the roads in summer capital Srinagar. Reports said that in  Bandipora massive stone pelting is going on forcing government forces to fire in air and lob tear gas shells to quell protests.

However, the stone pelting and tear gas shelling amidst pro freedom slogans was going on. From other districts of valley,  the reports of shutdown is also reported. Gowhar died late yesterday evening after he recived a tear gas shell in his head and succumbed at SKIMS.
