Life is a sweet gift from the Creator. Its sweetness is so profound that it is quite difficult to sum it up in words. However, it is a secondary thing that we look at life through narrow prisms. Life has the attribute of never ending. The common notion that is found in our society, is that eat, love and merry because there is no tomorrow. In other words, there is no Hereafter.
Whatever is, it is here. To some extent, they are right in saying this. Without enjoying this moment, we cannot think of enjoying the next moment. However, there are some things that must be kept in mind before living our lives. In this piece of writing, we will have some vague understanding of a good life.
First is one who lives for others, is the happiest person in the world. One, who is selfless, can never feel in want. But this trait has been understood in a wrong manner. An Urdu poet Yagana Changezi says that it is you who has to bear the consequences, after helping everyone in whatever way you can help people. So, in order to live a good life, we must strike balance among things.
Second is we love materialism. Although materialism is a reality, it should not dictate our way of living. Material is for us while we are for something top. We cannot stoop so low to make materialism our main motive of life. We have to think over it in order to enjoy this serene life.
Third is pondering over nature. Nature is in constant change. But it still is the same. Nature talks in silent language that gives us a reason to live. Everything is at the proper place.
The giant planets move without colliding with each other. Seasons come and go. Rain, snow and the sunlight all are in harmony. Sometimes thunderstorms and lightning dread us with its superpower.Happiness Is Missinga lesson that life is a mixture of happiness and sadness.
One cannot go living in ease for a long time and vice versa. The rule of the world is that both misery and comfort go hand in hand. So, knowing the reality of life is to ponder over nature very minutely and come up with the smartest lesson of our lives.
Fourth and last is why life is. If it were not, what would be there! If it is, what we should do with it. Glittering things have a short life. Melodious tones soothe for a moment. Beautiful things are short-lived.
So, what is the reality of life? I know my physical parts but not in totality. Some parts of my body are subordinate to other’s help. In the same vein, I don’t have my inner universe.
Moreover, our body not only is the combination of cells; but it is something more. Millions of neurons are responsible for our happiness and sadness. Furthermore, we have consciousness and soul that is accountable to every deed of ours.
In short, life is to be cherished. We cannot go on wasting our life in futile pursuits. Let us live our lives.
