Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday ordered a key administrative reshuffle involving seven senior IAS officers in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to an official order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), a copy of which is available with KINS, Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma, IAS (AGMUT: 1994), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Tourism Department.
He will also hold the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, until further orders.
Anil Kumar Singh, IAS (AGMUT: 1995), Principal Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department, holding additional charge of the Mining Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Public Works (R&B) Department. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the Mining Department.
Yasha Mudgal, IAS (AGMUT: 2007), Commissioner/Secretary, Tourism Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department.
Sarmad Hafeez, IAS (AGMUT: 2009), Commissioner/Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department, has been posted as Commissioner/Secretary, Social Welfare Department.
Talat Parvez Rohella, IAS (AGMUT: 2010), Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, has been posted as Chairman, Bureau of Public Enterprises, J&K.
Bhupinder Kumar, IAS (AGMUT: 2011), Secretary, Public Works (R&B) Department, holding additional charges as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration for J&K and Ladakh, Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, and Administrative Secretary, Hospitality and Protocol Department, has been formally posted as Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi. He will continue to hold all existing additional charges.
Ananth Dwivedi, IAS (AGMUT: 2021), Chief Executive Officer, State Health Agency, J&K, currently also serving as Mission Director, Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission, has been assigned additional charge as Additional Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department.(KINS)
