The Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha in his message on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti has said,” I pay my heartfelt tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi on his 156th birth anniversary. I extend my warm greetings to the people of Jammu Kashmir. This is an occasion for all of us to rededicate ourselves to internalize Bapuji’s ideals of peace, non-violence, truth, tolerance, compassion, self-less service and contribute in building Viksit Bharat.
Bapu dedicated his life for freedom of our country, social equity and development of our villages. His concept of Swadeshi was focused on making India Aatm-Nirbhar and boost local production. I appeal to all the people to buy Swadeshi Products and strengthen local artisans and cottage industries.
