“We stand firmly with the affected families in this hour of grief and will ensure they receive all possible support,” Sharma said.
Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma on Sunday visited the residence of civilians who lost their lives in the accidental blast at Nowgam. He offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident.
Sharma met the family members, shared their grief, and paid respects to the deceased. He said the community has suffered an immense loss and stressed that the administration must take all necessary measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
He assured the families that every possible assistance—both immediate and long-term—will be extended, including a job to the next of kin of each victim. Sharma also said he would personally follow up with the administration to ensure timely support and adequate relief.
Sharma was accompanied by NEC Member and former UT President Ravinder Raina, along with senior BJP leaders, who also expressed solidarity with the grieving families.
