A 22-year-old youth was killed by his two real brothers, who later surrendered in Civil Lines are of Moradabad district here in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, a police officer said here.
Superintendent of Police (City) Akhilesh Chaurasia said that the incident took place in the afternoon when Fakir, a resident of Chakkar ki Milak locality, reached his home.
“As Fakir reached home his brothers Shadab and Sajid attacked him. During this Shadab hit Fakir with a wooden plant killing him on the spot,” he said.
He said after the murder Shadab reached the police station informed about the incident and surrendered.
“When the police reached the spot they found Fakir’s body lying in the pool of blood. The body has been sent for postmortem examination,” he said.
The SP said that Shadab and Sajid have been arrested and further legal action is being taken.
“The deceased is survived by three children,” he said.
