More than 100 employees of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas, Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said on Friday.

“Devastated. Over 100 @UNRWA colleagues confirmed killed in 1 month … @UNRWA is mourning, Palestinians mourning, Israelis mourning. Ending this tragedy needs #Humanitarianceasefire now,” Lazzarini wrote on X.
