A fake CID inspector and his two associates have been arrested by the police in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna, police said.
According to police sources said on Friday, Ramnagar Kotwali police have arrested fake CID inspector Anil Saket and his two associates Gavi Patel and Rajkumar Saket on the complaint of Babupur Halka Patwari of Ramnagar Development Block.
The accused had been threatening Rajkumari Patel, a woman patwari of Babupur Halke, for two to three days by posing as a CID inspector and demanding money.
On suspicion, the victim informed the police and handed over the fake CID inspector and his two associates to the police.
