Orientation Prog Held For Newly Appointed Veterinary Assistant Surgeons

JAMMU: Animal Husbandry Department, Jammu today organized an orientation programme for newly appointed Veterinary Assistant surgeons, here in the conference hall of the AH Directorate.

Sixty (60) Veterinary Doctors recently appointed in Animal Husbandry Department were introduced to the working of the department.

Director Animal Husbandry Department, Jammu, Vivek Sharma, in her welcome address, exhorted upon the new entrants to imbibe values of sincerity, honesty and dedication in their working.

She also told them to work with utmost zeal and always be supportive to the farming community.

Deputy Director (AH), Dr. Matloob A. Tak, in his address, shared some valuable tips of Do’s and Don’ts to be followed and wished them a successful career ahead.

On the occasion, Dr. Sunil Bazaz, extension Officer gave a power point presentation on hierarchy of the department and farmer welfare schemes.

The Booklet of departmental schemes was also distributed among the participants.
