Pakistan Violates Ceasefire In Poonch

Poonch: Pakistan on Tuesday violated ceasefire in border district of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Today at about 0330 hours Pakistani army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and shelling with Mortars along LoC in Mankot and Mendhar sectors in District Poonch(J&K),” an army officer said in a statement.

“Indian Army retaliated befittingly. Firing stopped at about 0500 hours,” the officer said. However, there was no immediate report of any causality. (GNS)
