Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm birthday greetings to union Home Minister Amit Shah as he turned 61 today.
In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister commended Shah’s steadfast dedication to public service and his instrumental role in strengthening India’s internal security apparatus.
“Wishing Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji a very happy birthday. His dedication to public service and relentless efforts to ensure the safety and dignity of every Indian are truly commendable. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life,” PM Modi stated.
Born on October 22, 1964, in Mumbai to a Gujarati family, Amit Shah has been a pivotal figure in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), playing a key role in the party’s expansion and success across the nation. His association with PM Modi dates back to their early days in the Gujarat RSS during the 1980s.
On this special day, Shah is set to celebrate the Gujarati New Year, Bestu Varas, at his residence in Ahmedabad, welcoming guests with traditional rituals and festive greetings.
