PM to distribute 71,000 Govt appointment letters on Apr 13

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute about 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits at 1030 hours on April 13 via video conferencing.

The Prime Minister will also address these appointees virtually across 45 different locations in 19 States, Union territories of the country, a South Central Railway (SCR) release said here on Tuesday.

In the State of Telangana, Union Minister of Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy, will handover appointment letters to newly selected recruits of Central Government under the Rozgar Mela Scheme in the presence of SCr General Manager Arun Kumar Jain and other dignitaries at a function to be held at Rail Kalarang, Bhoiguda, Secunderabad on the same day.

The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfillment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord highest priority to employment generation. The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.

The new recruits, selected from across the country, will join various positions/posts under Government of India like Train Manager, Station Master, Sr. commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Inspector, Sub Inspectors, Constable, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, Postal Assistant, Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, Sr Draughtsman, JE/Supervisor, Assistant Professor, Teacher, Librarian, Nurse, Probationary Officers, PA, MTS, among others.

The newly inducted appointees will also get an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, which is an online orientation course for all new appointees in various Government departments.

Over South Central Railway, the function is being conducted at four locations– Secunderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal and Nanded, the release added.
