Srinagar, April 26 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Police claim to have arrested two drug peddlers with 69 kg of contraband substance in Budgam district on Monday.
Police said a police patrol on the Nagam-Hayatpora road intercepted a vehicle with two persons on board who were identified as Mohammad Ayoub Beigh of Nowhar Chadoora and Nazir Ahmed Sheikh of Tangnar Chadoora.
During searches, 69 kg of poppy straw and cash totalling Rs 55,000 were recovered from their possession.
