Police Ban Combat Dresses In Kashmir

Director General of Police, K. Rajendra Kumar, today directed the district police chiefs to strictly implement ban on unauthorized sale and use of army uniforms/combat dress in the state.
A police spokesman said that Kumar directed the superintendents of police of all districts to impose Section 144 in the areas already notified by concerned Deputy Commissioners.
"Rajendra has said that anybody found involved in sale, purchase or use of such uniforms/combat dress without proper permission shall be dealt strictly under law," he said.
