Srinagar: Udhampur Police on Tuesday claimed to have booked a boy and a girl under preventive sections of law.
“Based on some specific information that two youth namely Abhinandan Khajuria @ Nandu, son of Ravinder Pal Khajuria of Subash Nagar, Udhampur and a girl, who seems under the influence of some addictive drugs and there was a suspicion they may resort to some kind of mischief, quarrel or scuffle,” police spokesman said in a statement issued to KNO.
It added that police party of Police Station Udhampur immediately rushed to the spot and both the youngsters were taken into custody under preventive sections of law. “Further legal proceedings are going on,” police said.(KNO)
