Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Telangana on Sunday, the party said on Saturday.
During his visit, the former Congress president will address a public meeting at Khammam, as per the itinerary shared by the party.
Earlier this week, the Congress received a shot in the arm as several leaders from the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) switched over to the grand old party.
Among the prominent leaders, who joined the Congress included former Telangana minister Jupally Krishna Rao and former MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy.
Assembly elections in Telangana is scheduled to be held later this year.
