Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M.K.Stalin said he
was overwhelmed by the ‘sweet gesture’ from Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi
said the IDIA bloc will secure a ‘sweet victory’ in the April 19 Lok Sabha polls and deliver
to him.
Mr Rahul, who visited Coimbatore last evening to campaign for the DMK-led Front (INDIA boc)
candidates, purchased a box of sweets before coming to the meeting venue and presented
it to Mr Stalin.
He also addressed Mr Stalin as his elder brother and that he will not address anyone as elder

Moved by this ‘sweet gesture’, Mr Stalin, in a social media post on Saturday quoted a couplet
from Tirukkural that said “is there any lock to love” and said he was touched and overwhelmed
by this gesture from Mr Rahul.
“Touched and overwhelmed by the ‘sweet gesture’ from my brother @RahulGandhi”, he said.
“On June 4th (the day of vote counting), #INDIA will surely deliver him a sweet victory!Quote
