In the Madhya Pradesh area of Katni, a car accident claimed the lives of three women.
According to police reports, a collision between a truck and a passenger car travelling from Maihar to Jabalpur late last night in the Piprodh village area along the National Highway in the Madhav Nagar police station area resulted in the immediate deaths of three women.
Residents of Jabalpur, Malti Patel (50), Madhu Patel (20), and Roshni Patel (45), perished in the tragedy.
In the police incident, 15 persons were critically hurt. After receiving information about the event, administrative officers arrived on the scene and transported all the injured to the hospital for treatment.
