Srinagar flight ops resume as weather improves

Srinagar, Jan 6 (UNI) Flight operations at the Srinagar Airport were restored on Thursday after remaining affected for the past three consecutive days following improvement in the visibility this afternoon, officials said.

A number of flights scheduled to several routes were either canceled or delayed around 9.30 am.

“The weather has improved now we are commencing our operations,” Srinagar Airport official tweeted at 11.48 am.

Most of the flights on Srinagar International Airport were either cancelled or delayed due to inclement weather and poor visibility during the past two days causing inconvenience to hundreds of passengers.

The passengers of the cancelled flights have been assured flights in the next available days by concerned airlines without extra charges for rescheduling. The passengers of these flights can also opt for full refund at their convenience.
